Our contract doesn’t expire until July 31, 2023, but the Teamster campaign to win a good contract begins now. 

Contract Survey

Every member will have a chance to speak out on the issues in a contract survey from the International Union, probably sometime this fall.

Contract Proposal Meetings 

Every local union will hold a proposal meeting where members can submit and discuss proposals for the national contract and supplements and riders.

Supplemental Negotiations

Separate negotiating teams will meet with UPS management to negotiate each individual supplement and rider. Supplemental negotiations are not expected to begin until after peak. Every supplemental negotiating committee will include rank-and-file Teamsters.

National Negotiations

The national contract will be negotiated by Sean O’Brien and Fred Zuckerman and a team of local union leaders. For the first time since 1997, the National Negotiating Team will also include rank-and-file members.
